My foot was on the dashboard as we approached the car, I could no longer see that car’s license plate and I thought our death was sure to come.
There was pandemonium on the road as everyone tried to avoid collision. I starting shouting Om Namah Shivaya loudly and my husband joined in as he gradually tried to slow down and avoid the cars. It was turning around in 360 degree circles and entering the other lanes. A pickup truck was entering the fast lane from a left entrance ramp and began to spin out. When I finished, I observed before me a huge 10 lane freeway with cars traveling about 80 to 90 miles an hour. I spent the first hour with my eyes closed as I repeated the Saraswati mantra while my husband drove.
We were new in town and driving to our first satsang which was a long two hours away in heavy traffic.
